Material Flow Specialist I

Job Summary
Operate material handling equipment, including powered industrial trucks and reach trucks, while adhering to safety protocols for volatile battery materials. Receive inbound shipments, manage inventory through audits and cycle counts, and pick and load materials for production areas. Coordinate task distribution with supervisors and maintain accurate data within the Warehouse Management System to support management decisions. Establish quality control mechanisms and manage internal material flow to improve operational efficiency. Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and gripping while keeping work areas clean and orderly.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Demonstrated safety track record
- Must have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Forklift and/or reach truck certification preferred; must be willing to obtain certification upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehousing preferred
