Job Summary
Material Flow Coordinator role in a busy industrial metal recycling yard in Hamilton, ON. Responsibilities include inspecting inbound truck loads to identify material grades, non-conformities, non-recyclable and hazardous materials; documenting load quality; directing inbound trucks to yard locations; performing daily yard quality checks (pile inspections, truck inspections, gate cleanliness, overnight load reviews); communicating material concerns to operations and commercial teams; coordinating with production to remove unwanted materials; verifying outbound material quality meets customer and sales specifications; providing guidance to new inspectors; and upholding safety and quality procedures. Requires comfort working outdoors year-round, experience around heavy equipment, and strong communication and organizational skills; high school diploma or equivalent; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
