Job Summary
Materials Expeditor coordinates all aircraft parts requirements for commercial aircraft heavy maintenance projects. Works with maintenance teams to determine whether parts are customer- or company-supplied, and ensures accurate entry into the Corridor ERP system. Maintains a critical parts list, tracks task ownership and status to minimize delays, and supports on-time project delivery. Responsibilities include attending daily status meetings, reviewing and processing pre-draw parts requirements, ordering pre-draw materials, entering all parts and tooling requests into ERP, tracking AOG parts, coordinating with Purchasing and Receiving to expedite priority parts, coordinating rental/loaned tooling, and providing weekly material status updates. Requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems ( Corridor or similar ), and knowledge of aircraft parts and inventory control. FAA Airframe & Powerplant license is preferred but not required. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, and able to travel intrahandling between office, hangar, and warehouse environments. Location: CTS facility Victorville, CA; no travel required beyond site duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years in materials expediting, inventory control, or related roles in aviation, aerospace, or heavy maintenance environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Corridor) and parts ordering processes
- Strong knowledge of aircraft parts, shop supplies, tooling, and inventory control
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; must obtain a Driver badge through Southern California Logistics Airport
- Must be able to read and understand company and manufacturer manuals
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Experience in commercial aircraft maintenance operations preferred
