Job Summary
Material, Equipment & Facilities Manager responsible for leading daily warehouse operations, material handling, fleet and asset management, and facilities upkeep to support electricians and field teams. Drive efficient receiving, staging, kitting, storage, and distribution; maintain accurate inventory and asset records; oversee a fleet of ~100 vehicles; coordinate maintenance, inspections, and provisioning of tools, equipment, and materials; ensure safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA/DOT); lead a small team with a focus on improving productivity, inventory accuracy, and field readiness in a fast-paced electrical contracting environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, material management, equipment management, or related operational roles
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing warehouse, logistics, inventory, or operations teams
- Experience working in an electrical contracting, construction, mechanical contracting, industrial, or skilled trades environment
- Experience overseeing facilities, building maintenance, grounds maintenance, or related operational functions
- Experience with inventory management systems, asset tracking technology, and warehouse management software
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work in various environments, including outdoor conditions
