Job Summary
Material Damage Supervisor oversees material damage operations, including Total Loss, Salvage, Material Damage Specialists, and Field/Direct Repair facilities. The role manages teams of material desk auditors, total loss adjusters, salvage specialists, and field appraisers; focuses on workload balancing to optimize cycle time, staff development, and adherence to company guidelines and industry regulations. Responsibilities include ensuring timely adjudication of claims, developing tow and storage surveys to benchmark charges, maintaining quality of subordinates’ work product, producing clear written communications, maintaining policies and workflows, providing process improvement feedback, reporting issues to Management, coordinating staff training, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining punctuality. The role requires familiarity with California insurance regulations and other states Aspire conducts business in, and involves producing appropriate reports for assigned areas and achieving targeted performance goals.
