Job Summary
Ensure timely and accurate material handling delivery according to production stakeholder needs. Define, improve, and uphold process standards while executing all material transactions using Epicor (ERP). Operate various powered industrial vehicles within the plant and read job travelers, pick lists, and system-generated workflow assignments. Clean, restock, and organize the warehouse area, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment operation and safety. Perform other projects and duties as assigned in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports Trystar's mission to become the world's foremost custom solution provider by maintaining the right inventory in the right place at the right time.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines and visually inspect raw materials
- 2 years of experience of material handling in a manufacturing environment or proven knowledge and understanding of material handling best practices
- Experience using an ERP system
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and set priorities
- Outstanding attention to detail, organizational and coordination abilities
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
- Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc
- Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required
