Material Coordinator/Quality Lead

Job Summary
Hands-on Material Coordinator on the production floor responsible for accurate movement, staging, and control of materials, while owning floor-level quality and ISO-related responsibilities to maintain compliance. Roles include material coordination (selecting, transferring, staging, verifying part numbers, using WMS/ERP for real-time inventory, kit components, labeling/organization, cycle counting, and reporting discrepancies) and ISO/quality support (material traceability, basic inspections, nonconforming material disposition, calibration-tracking, on-floor quality questions, and audit readiness). Requires independent operation, cross-functional collaboration with production, shipping, and quality teams, and a focus on ensuring uninterrupted material flow and adherence to ISO procedures. Preferred: dual-role support in production and quality, familiarity with inspection tools and ISO audits, and continuous improvement contributions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Associate degree or completion of 2 years of college coursework in a technical, manufacturing, business, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling environment
- Experience with material flow, inventory accuracy, and production support
- Exposure to quality systems (ISO 9001 preferred)
- Ability to read basic prints and use measuring tools
