Job Summary
Read blueprints for electrical, mechanical, and structural tasks to drive material acquisition and installation. Manage physical inventory receipt inspections from warehousing to shipboard locations, compile Bills of Material and Job Material Lists, and prepare Purchase Order Requests with full compliance documentation. Track orders from inception through submittal, monitor delivery timelines and prices, and expedite shipments as directed by the Program Manager. Resolve unforeseen delivery issues, adjust plans for Corrective Action Reports, and design strategies to minimize costs while improving efficiency. Requires active government security clearance or ability to obtain one.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Supply/Logistics and ship repair field in relation to a DoD procurement and production environment
- Must be willing to travel INCONUS
- Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive approval upon position acceptance
