Job Summary
Pull parts from inventory, issue them to work orders, and deliver materials to production work centers. Retrieve parts for sales orders, stage them for shipping, and prepare outgoing shipments with associated documentation. Transport job materials and job travelers to appropriate work centers while maintaining clean and organized work areas. Maintain accurate receipt of incoming materials, proper labeling, and storage in designated locations. Move work-in-process materials between work centers upon completion of each operation. Attendance during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED
- Up to 1 Year of related experience
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
- Prior RF Scanner experience
- Able to use Microsoft Office Applications
- Class A; DOT certification for Hazardous Material Handling and shipping
- Certified Forklift Operator
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to stand, walk and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull
- Ability to walk up stairs and crouch
- Ability to communicate through speaking and hearing
- Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift
- Ability to be present at work
- Ability to arrive on time
- Ability to be at the work station ready for work at the start of the shift
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems preferred
- Prior RF Scanner experience preferred
- Able to use Microsoft Office Applications
- Class A; DOT certification for Hazardous Material Handling and shipping (as assigned) preferred
- Certified Forklift Operator preferred
