Job Summary
Monitor inventory levels by running and validating required reports each shift. Enter all discrepancies into the inventory system, maintain records to standards, and enter receipts as directed. Perform cycle counts, pull inventory as required, and administer inbound/outbound expedite activity. Communicate supply issues to suppliers and escalate supply risks to internal groups. Follow visual min/max procedures, communicate min violations, and document activities while adhering to company guidelines and ensuring employee safety. Assist in plant-wide inventory activities as needed. This role supports Emotiv's advanced warehousing solutions for automotive OEMs in Louisville, KY.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 1-3 years of applied experience in the materials department or manufacturing department
- preference for automotive or JIT experience
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong attention to detail
- ability to perform time sensitive assignments
- ability to maintain confidential information
- Normal amount of sitting and standing
- average mobility to move around an office and plant environment
- able to conduct normal amount of work on a computer
- Up to 5% of travel required
- valid driver's license
