Material Control Technician II

Job Summary
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves using a power industrial truck. Identify, inspect, and track incoming and outgoing parts for quality, quantity, and accuracy while performing inventory control audits. Record received products, place items in proper shelf spots, and communicate with shop floor and supplies build floor regarding material build kits. Clean work areas, remove packing dunnage, and assist in training team members. This role ensures materials are received and delivered to fulfill orders, with a minimum of four years of material control experience and ability to work overtime. Located in Livonia, MI, the position supports Roush's engineering, testing, and prototype services across transportation, aerospace, and defense industries.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship
- Minimum of 4 years of material control experience
- Good customer service, reliable attendance, and ability to work overtime
- Detail oriented, effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain or qualify for an industrial truck license
- Ability to read, count and communicate inventory data both written and verbal, follow directions, learn new skills and technologies and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Valid driver's license & ability to pass our MVR
- Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
