Job Summary
Material Control Specialist II maintains inventory levels to support production, performing cycle counts and physical audits to reconcile stock, and records data in ERP/MRP systems. Responsibilities include receiving, counting, and stocking items; issuing materials based on requisitions; collaborating across procurement, production, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory flow; and ensuring data integrity. Some roles may involve packaging and shipping (domestic and international) and handling materials that require HazMat precautions. Requires strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to safety practices. ITAR/EAR considerations apply; U.S. person status may be required for contract-related roles. Beneficial qualifications include APICS CPIM, Oracle ERP experience, forklift experience, and knowledge of safe material handling of electro-static sensitive components (ESD)."
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 – 2 years of related stockroom/inventory experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Foundational knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems for inventory tracking and control
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
