Job Summary
Material Control Planner II responsible for procuring mass production raw materials for wire harness production, balancing physical inventory, and preventing line shutdown. Manages supplier communications, forecasts/POs/backorders, and weekly forecast/backorder reporting; issues supplier delivery non-conformance and payment deduction notices; supports plant and warehouse with timely information on ETA and DOH, generates forecast and inventory reports, facilitates supplier meetings, tracks shipments, and coordinates carrier assignments to minimize downtime. Role requires travel up to 0-5 days per week, Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years in related field, and strong MS Office skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in a related field
- Knowledge of warehouse operations required
- Effective analytical, written, oral communication, negotiating skills a must
- Working knowledge of MS Office such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs. Excel proficiency is a must
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work with deadlines
- Positive attitude and team personality
- Some travel required (Domestic and International)
