Material Control Manager

Job Summary
Develop and implement efficient strategies for material handling, storage, and internal transportation while monitoring daily and monthly inventory levels to minimize waste and holding costs. Manage day-to-day operations of the KD assembly line to ensure timely delivery of auto parts, collaborating with engineering and production teams to streamline workflows and reduce assembly time. Work closely with the procurement team to establish supplier relationships and identify cost-saving sourcing opportunities without compromising quality. Develop and maintain annual, monthly, and daily production plans based on forecasted demand, analyze capacity constraints to resolve bottlenecks, and accurately record production performance in the ERP system. Track equipment downtime, coordinate maintenance activities, and prepare detailed shipping instructions for outbound delivery processes. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management, proven experience in automotive manufacturing, and bilingual proficiency in Korean and English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in material control, production planning, or supply chain operations
- preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems and data-driven decision-making
- High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English
