Job Summary
Material Control Coordinator V at Huntsville (Discovery) responsible for expediting materials and assemblies, performing kitting, cycle counting, return to stock, storage/issuance, and shipping/receiving to ensure on-time deliveries and inventory accuracy. Interfaces with Manufacturing Manager, Floor Lead, and Inventory Control Manager; requires ERP/MES/PLM familiarity and proficiency with Costpoint and MS Office; must handle material requisitioning, material locating, and delivery sequencing in a fast-paced production environment, with a HS diploma and 5+ years of related experience. Location is Huntsville, AL; role involves in-plant material handling and adherence to company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma with 5+ years of experience
- Possess good communication skills including interpersonal communication and team communication
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
