Job Summary
MAT Registered Nurse providing direct patient care for individuals in a correctional healthcare setting, administering MAT medications, performing nursing assessments, venipuncture, documentation in EHR, and collaborating with MAT providers and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care; requires active RN license, BLS, 1+ year nursing experience, familiarity with MAT protocols and controlled substances; shift is Day, Monday-Friday, no weekends/holidays/on-call; physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment
- At least one (1) year of nursing experience; prior corrections, behavioral health, or addiction treatment experience preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in medication administration, injections, and phlebotomy
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a secure environment while adhering to all safety and security protocols
- Familiarity with MAT protocols, controlled substance handling, and applicable federal/state regulations
