Job Summary
Mat Pilates Instructor needed to lead engaging group exercise classes, develop routines for varied fitness levels, provide modifications for participants, foster an inclusive, energetic environment, and stay current with industry trends. Requires at least 1 year of group exercise leadership, current national group exercise certification (AFAA/ACE/ACSM/NETA), and CPR/AED (First Aid preferred). Must be able to motivate participants, communicate effectively, and deliver safe, results-driven workouts; branded formats require training/licensing. Compensation ranges per unit and includes full-time benefits for eligible employees; part-time benefits available. Location: Bellevue, WA (in-person).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience actively leading successful group exercise classes
- Current nationally accredited group exercise certification (e.g. AFAA, ACE, ACSM, NETA) required
- Current CPR/AED certification is mandatory; First Aid certification is strongly preferred
- Instructors teaching licensed/branded formats (e.g. Zumba, Yoga) must also be trained and licensed to teach those specific formats
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire individuals in a group setting
- Passion for fitness and promoting a healthy lifestyle
