Job Summary
MAT Counselor at Root Center for Advanced Recovery focused on Substance Use Disorder treatment within a MAT program. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group counseling, safety planning/risk assessment, developing treatment plans, case management, urinalysis testing observation, coordination of transportation and care with families and other facilities, intake and screenings, patient education on program operations and obligations, client assessments, documentation, and active participation in multidisciplinary team meetings. Licensure timeline is within 2 years for CT licensure; positions available for non-licensed master’s-level counselors and licensed counselors with sign-on bonuses of $3,000 and $5,000 respectively.
