Job Summary

Provide treatment to adults, adolescents, and children by conducting timely psychosocial assessments, updating treatment plans, and managing discharge planning. Demonstrate group therapy skills using DBT/CBT and trauma-informed care while communicating progress to family members and coordinating multi-system meetings with schools and agencies. Identify appropriate dispositions and arrange aftercare appointments within seven days of discharge, including referrals to lower levels of care. Participate in daily team meetings to report on patient progress and caseloads. Maintain legible documentation of clinical encounters and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team. Obtain and maintain CPR certification and Management of Assaultive Behavior training prior to patient care. Full-time 40-hour schedule Monday through Friday with one weekend day monthly.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
  • License requirement: LMHC, LCSW, or LICSW
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in behavioral health setting, preferably in an inpatient or partial hospitalization setting
  • Working knowledge of available community resources and the mental health and substance system as a whole
  • Strong experience with group therapy, crisis intervention, treatment, and discharge planning
  • Must be organized, efficient, have time management skills, and flexibility while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Legible and timely documentation of all clinical encounters in patients' charts
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a treatment team with all providers within the hospital
  • Must obtain and maintain approved CPR certification and Management of Assaultive Behavior training including restraint and seclusion policies prior to assuming patient care responsibility
