Job Summary
Develop and optimize AI models for automated quality inspection in industrial production by analyzing, preprocessing, and evaluating real image data from manufacturing processes. Compare modern object detection, segmentation, and anomaly detection methods while advancing a vision platform for production-ready systems. Fine-tune models for accuracy, robustness, and real-time performance using Python, PyTorch, OpenCV, Docker, and GPU infrastructure. Collaborate closely with experienced AI experts in an established production environment. Suitable for enrolled Master's students in Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering with strong programming skills and interest in industrial AI applications.
Required Qualifications
- Eingeschriebene*r Student*in (m/w/x) in dem Bereich Data Science, Informatik, Ingenieur-/Naturwissenschaften oder vergleichbare
- Erfolgreicher Abschluss eines Großteils des Studiums, gerne mit Schwerpunkten im Bereich Data Science und Künstliche Intelligenz
- Kenntnisse in Programmierung (insb. Python) sowie Erfahrung mit Frameworks wie PyTorch oder OpenCV
