Job Summary
Master Technician responsible for diagnosing automotive systems, repair and maintenance services across ASE-defined areas (A1–A8), ensuring Service Work Orders are initiated and displayed, performing MPI as part of the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process, and maintaining high safety and quality standards. The role requires completion of required training and certifications (including ASE, BATS TPMS), pursuit of state vehicle inspection licensing, and adherence to VIP safety, loss prevention, and process guidelines. Performs road testing as needed to verify repairs, maintains shop cleanliness and organization, and supports ongoing technician productivity goals (minimum 50% productivity target; 40-hour work week).
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
