Job Summary
Master Technician at VIP responsible for diagnosing automotive systems, performing repair and maintenance across ASE-listed areas (A1-A8), ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Duties include completing service work orders, MPI processes, maintaining a productive workload, and adhering to VIP safety, training, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications include experience in automotive service, a valid driver’s license, ASE certifications per role, and state inspection licensing. Standard workweek is five days and 40 hours; must maintain shop cleanliness and participate in team meetings, with emphasis on accurate diagnosis, safe operation, and delivering high-quality automotive service.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
