Job Summary
Master Technician position at VIP in Topsham, ME responsible for diagnosing automotive systems and performing repairs and maintenance across ASE-listed areas (engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and performance). Duties include ensuring proper Service Work Orders, performing MPI, adhering to safety policies, and maintaining shop standards; requires ASE and state certifications as noted, with a standard 5-day, 40-hour work week and non-exempt hourly classification.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
