Job Summary
Master Technician responsible for diagnosing automotive systems and performing repair and maintenance across the ASE A1-A8 spectrum, ensuring safety, accurate work orders, and adherence to VIP quality standards. Duties include safe operation, completing MPI, maintaining productivity and shop cleanliness, obtaining parts through proper channels, and pursuing ASE certification status (G1, A4, A5, and potentially others) as listed. Requires ability to explain vehicle information to customers, interpret technical instructions, and meet 40-hour workweek expectations with a focus on first-time quality and customer service; position involves indoor service department work with potential exposure to varying conditions.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program or equivalent
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
