Job Summary
Master Technician responsible for diagnostic and repair work across ASE-listed systems (engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical, and HVAC) with emphasis on safe, accurate service and customer communication. Duties include creating and using Service Work Orders, performing MPI, maintaining shop safety and cleanliness, achieving required productivity, earning and maintaining ASE certifications, and meeting VIP quality standards. Requires ability to diagnose automotive problems, explain vehicle information to customers, and perform prescribed automotive services per established procedures and training.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
