Job Summary
Master Technician role in Laconia, NH focusing on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automotive systems across ASE-aligned areas (engine, transmission, drive train, suspension/steering, brakes, electrical/electronic, HVAC, engine performance). Responsibilities include ensuring proper service work orders, completing MPI processes, maintaining safety and loss-prevention standards, attaining and maintaining ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5 for technicians; full A-series for Master Technician), vehicle inspections, road-testing, and delivering quality service with customer engagement. Requires adherence to VIP policies, ongoing training, and the ability to communicate technical information to customers. Working hours are standard full-time, non-exempt, hourly, with a focus on productivity and safe operation within an indoor service department.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
