Job Summary
Master Technician in Framingham responsible for diagnosing and repairing automotive systems per ASE certifications, with emphasis on safety, accurate service work orders, and delivering a high-quality customer experience. Requires knowledge of engine, transmission, steering, brakes, electrical/electronic systems, HVAC, and engine performance; ASE/G1/A4/A5 certifications or equivalents recommended; valid driver’s license and state inspection license; ability to read technical instructions, explain vehicle information to customers, and maintain shop safety and cleanliness. Must maintain ASE certifications and participate in the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process; standard workweek is 5 days, 40 hours; non-exempt/hourly role.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
