Job Summary
Master Technician responsible for diagnosing automotive systems and performing repair and maintenance including ASE-certified areas A1–A8, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Duties include interpreting service work orders and MPI, performing diagnostic evaluations, repairing/maintaining vehicles, and ensuring compliance with VIP safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Requires ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5 and related) and state inspection license; targets include maintaining productivity and participating in ongoing training and shop maintenance. Reports to Service Manager and collaborates with service team to earn automotive customers for life.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
