Job Summary
Determine and discuss vehicle issues, current work, and future needs with customers and service advisors. Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems while performing quality inspections, including test drives, prior to returning vehicles. Communicate directly with service advisors to inform customers of additional service needs and provide estimates for new repairs. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. This Master Service Technician role requires a leader who mentors others and solves problems persistently, with compensation based on experience. The position includes paid vacation, healthcare, vision, dental, and a 401k match, and offers no Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma)
- 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training
- Operator Driver's License
- State Inspection License
- Must pass background check
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Must have an acceptable driving record
- Must be a determined and persistent problem solver
- Must maintain a comprehensive understanding of the latest automotive technologies
