Job Summary
Master Teacher in Special Education delivering course content in an online environment for TNVA. Responsibilities include providing instruction, support, and guidance; managing the learning process; focusing on individual student needs; monitoring progress via Stride K12’s LMS; maintaining regular communication with students and learning coaches/parents; differentiating instruction based on mastery; updating grade books and making placement decisions; preparing students for high-stakes standardized tests; and traveling approximately 20% of the time for face-to-face professional development, student testing, and school events. Requires independent work from a home office with typical hours 9-5 (or 8-4) and the ability to work with families to support curricular and instructional issues, with occasional travel as defined. The role is full-time, virtual, with base salary around $50,000 plus potential performance bonus; Bachelor’s degree and active teaching license required; experience with online learning platforms and data-driven instructional decisions is desirable.
