Job Summary
Lead a preschool classroom team by modeling developmentally appropriate curriculum, overseeing daily routines, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment compliant with Title 5 and Title 22 regulations. Manage meal-time clean-up, mentor staff, and foster collaborative partnerships with families while maintaining strict adherence to agency policies. Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime and site flexibility as needed. Requires a valid Master Teacher Permit, 24 CORE ECE units, and minimum one to two years of lead teacher experience. Required Qualifications
- Valid Master Teacher Permit or Master Teacher Eligible with plans to apply
- 24 CORE ECE units
- 1–2 years minimum experience as a Lead/Master Teacher in an early learning environment
- Strong instructional practice and classroom management
- Ability to model best practices, mentor staff, and provide consistent guidance
