Job Summary
Master Teacher manages and delivers intermediate-level instructional support in grades K-12, collaborating with the teacher of record to implement effective teaching strategies aligned to content standards, including technology integration. Responsibilities include coordinating curriculum instruction, facilitating and evaluating professional development activities, using MTSS data to set goals and monitor progress, coaching colleagues, conducting follow-up conferences, and applying data from multiple sources to drive student achievement. The role requires strong knowledge of curriculum standards, classroom management, data analysis for instructional improvement, and effective communication to support an inclusive, outcomes-focused learning environment. A Bachelor’s degree and a valid NC teaching license in the content area are required; a Master’s degree is preferred, with at least five years of experience in teaching. The normal work location is Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.”,
