Job Summary
Provide clinical and case management services for medical-psychiatric patients through individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and biopsychosocial assessments. Lead patient-centered treatment team meetings, coordinate discharge planning, and establish follow-up appointments while communicating with families and the multidisciplinary care team. Complete all necessary documentation adhering to hospital policies, HIPAA, and NASW standards. This in-person full-time role at the Insight Psychiatric Hospital in Flint requires an active LCSW license or Master's degree with one year of healthcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer
- Master's degree from an approved school of social work (accredited by the Council of Social Work Education)
- Active LCSW license preferred
- One year of social work in a health care setting
- Strong individual psychotherapy skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer tasks
- Comfortable collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
- Communicates effectively and accurately, verbally and in writing
