Job Summary
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency, test-drive vehicles, and diagnose automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications while communicating directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional service needs and provide time estimates. Operate electronic diagnostic equipment and special service tools to maintain and repair vehicle systems. ASE certification and a strong automotive background are required, along with the ability to identify problems quickly and learn new procedures. Submit to a drug screen and background check, and maintain a clean, valid driver's license.

- Ability to identify problems quickly
- Good knowledge of automobiles
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
- Must have clean & valid driver's license
