Job Summary
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment to identify problems quickly. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional service needs and provide time estimates. Requires ASE certification, a clean and valid driver's license, and strong teamwork and analytical skills. Required Qualifications
- ASE certified
- Strong automotive background
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to identify problems quickly
- Good knowledge of automobiles
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Must have clean & valid driver's license
