Job Summary
Develop and maintain the master production schedule, considering capacity constraints and material availability. Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain to ensure alignment on production plans and customer demand. Monitor inventory levels of finished goods and raw materials, adjusting schedules to prevent stockouts or overstock. Utilize ERP/MRP systems to optimize scheduling and track production progress against the plan. Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, communicating potential delays and mitigation strategies to stakeholders. Analyze production performance and schedule adherence, implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Forecast future production needs based on sales forecasts, historical data, and market trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Proven expertise with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics AX) and advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various departments

- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred
