Job Summary
Develop and maintain the master production schedule, considering capacity constraints and material availability. Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain to align production plans with customer demand and inventory targets. Monitor production performance against the schedule, identifying and addressing potential deviations. Analyze forecast data and sales orders to optimize production sequencing and resource allocation. Implement and maintain scheduling tools and systems to improve planning efficiency and accuracy. Lead cross-functional meetings to review production schedules and resolve conflicts. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to scheduling accuracy and on-time delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or demand planning within a manufacturing environment
- Proven expertise in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) for scheduling and production control
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable scheduling strategies
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (production, sales, procurement)
Desired Qualifications
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred
- Additional certifications or training
