Job Summary
Master Scheduler role at Sulzer Leeds site: responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising the master production schedule across engineer-to-order pump packages; coordinate pre-production planning including materials, labour, subcontract services, and capacity; ensure alignment between demand, project timelines and manufacturing capability; provide visibility of schedules, priorities, and delivery risks to stakeholders; monitor schedule adherence and drive continuous improvement in planning performance; collaborate with procurement, engineering, project management and operations to ensure material availability and realistic, deliverable plans for complex engineering projects.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in master scheduling, production planning, or supply chain in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems; SAP experience preferred
- Experience in project-based or engineer-to-order environments is beneficial
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, analytical approach with strong problem-solving capability
- Experience in heavy engineering, rotating equipment, or similar industries is desirable
