Job Summary
Monitor sales data to develop production forecasts and manage inventory demand using MRP tools. Create production schedules that align with supervision requirements and initiate expedites for material shortages. Implement Engineering Change Orders and monitor exception messages to prevent schedule impacts. Act as a liaison between Production, Purchasing, Engineering, and Inventory Control to ensure delivery dates are met. Analyze production variance reports and suggest process changes to improve efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in related field
- 5+ years of production scheduling experience
- 7+ years of planning and scheduling experience in manufacturing
- APICS CPIM certification
- Proficiency in MRP/ERP software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization
- Ability to read, write and follow written or verbal instructions
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Exceptional customer service skills
