Job Summary
Expedite or defer operations and materials to meet unforeseen conditions while working closely with buyers and production routers to adjust schedules. Create plant capacity reports and analyze production specifications using mathematical calculations to determine customer sequences and lead times. Release and schedule production jobs, then create customer acknowledgements when required. Converse with the Production Manager regarding potentially late shipments, routing information to salespeople or customers as requested. Forecast and set in motion plans for parts production, maintaining the ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations.
