Master Scheduler

Job Summary

Develop and maintain the master production schedule for all Kit Production work centers, aligning plans with demand, capacity constraints, and material availability. Level-load schedules to optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime while ensuring final material readiness before work order release. Release and track work orders through manufacturing, monitoring daily progress against the plan and adjusting for changing priorities or equipment constraints. Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, and Materials teams to resolve bottlenecks, capacity limitations, and supply shortages. Communicate schedule updates, risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders, and lead problem-solving efforts for missed commitments or production inefficiencies. Analyze schedule performance metrics to support continuous improvement in planning and capacity management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years)
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning, and material requirements planning (MRP) principles
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and cross-functional dependencies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and act on production data, KPIs, and scheduling metrics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP systems

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Lean or Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies a plus
