Job Summary
Develop and maintain the master production schedule, considering demand, capacity, and inventory targets. Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain to ensure alignment and feasibility of schedules. Monitor production progress against the schedule and identify potential delays or bottlenecks. Analyze forecast accuracy and inventory levels to optimize scheduling and minimize stockouts or excess inventory. Lead weekly scheduling meetings, communicating plans and resolving conflicts with relevant stakeholders. Implement and maintain scheduling tools and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the scheduling process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or demand planning within a manufacturing environment
- Proven expertise with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling
Desired Qualifications
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred
- Additional certifications or training
