Job Summary
Develop and maintain the master production schedule (MPS) to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization. Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain to align MPS with forecasts, capacity, and material availability. Monitor production performance against the MPS, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions. Analyze demand patterns, inventory levels, and production capacities to optimize scheduling decisions. Utilize ERP/MRP systems and advanced planning tools to generate, update, and manage the MPS. Lead cross-functional meetings to review the MPS, resolve conflicts, and ensure stakeholder alignment. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in the scheduling process.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a Master Scheduler in a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to develop and maintain production schedules for complex manufacturing operations
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their application in manufacturing scheduling
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing production efficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various departments
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
