Job Summary
Master Scheduler responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining the Master Production Schedule to ensure efficient resource utilization, on-time delivery, and optimal inventory. Acts as the central link between operations, supply chain, procurement, engineering, and customer service to balance demand with capacity and material availability. Develop and maintain MPS in alignment with forecasts and capacity, analyze demand patterns and constraints, monitor schedule adherence, communicate scheduling priorities, provide updates and KPIs, and implement process improvements. Supports lean manufacturing and PSI processes; requires degree and multi-year experience; ERP knowledge (Oracle) preferred; APICS CPIM/CSCP/CPM certifications a plus; role is on-site in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience OR master degree with 3+ years of experience OR doctorate degree
- Experience includes Planning or Supply Chain
- Understanding of manufacturing and demand planning to drive production planning process
- Strong organizational and operational process skills
- Working knowledge of Oracle or a similar tier one ERP system is preferred
- APICS CPIM, CSCP or CPM Certification is a plus
- Proven track record of accountability and ownership
