Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and manufacturing capacity while adjusting for delays, equipment issues, or material shortages. Collaborate with production, supply chain, engineering, quality, procurement, logistics, and customer service to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery. Release and confirm production orders in JD Edwards, manage production kit readiness, and track WIP. Monitor key performance indicators, generate reports, and lead inventory physical counts. Participate in new product development and continuous improvement projects. Requires 4+ years of planning experience, JD Edwards proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain or related field
- 4+ years experience in planning/scheduling
- Must be able to meet all CGD requirements
Desired Qualifications
- APICS/CPIM certification an asset
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; JDE a strong asset
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
- Knowledge of forecasting, production processes, and capacity constraints
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- High attention to detail
