Job Summary
Master Scheduler for Rolls-Royce’s CMC Industrialization program responsible for developing, maintaining, and controlling the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across Indianapolis and Cypress. Serves as SME for scheduling processes, data, and toolsets within the program; integrates schedules across Facilities, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, IT, and EHS; aligns site-level schedules between Indianapolis and Cypress; guides team members to produce detailed work-stream schedules and integrate into the Master Schedule to support program plans; performs critical path, float, and what-if analyses; establishes baselines, manages change, and tracks performance; partners with Program Managers and functional leads to ensure executable logic; supports decision-making during facilities start-up, equipment qualification, and production ramp-up; produces executive-level reports and dashboards; drives standards and continuous improvement; travel up to 25%; relocation available if appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- An Associate’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field with 4+ years of experience OR a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field with 2+ years of experience OR a Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field OR JD/Ph.D. In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field in order to qualify for this role, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.
- Experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project; scheduling manufacturing, industrialization, or CAPEX-driven programs
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Experience supporting manufacturing facilities start-up, commissioning, or production ramp-up
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting manufacturing facilities start-up, commissioning, or production ramp-up
- Familiarity with aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Technology Readiness Levels (M-TRLs) or gated development frameworks
- Experience with first-of-kind or advanced materials manufacturing programs
- Demonstrated experience building and managing Program-level Integrated Master Schedules
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, including logic development, baselining, and performance analysis
- Experience scheduling manufacturing, industrialization, or CAPEX-driven programs
- Strong understanding of cross-functional dependencies in facilities start-up and production readiness
- Systems-level thinking with strong attention to schedule logic and data quality
- Confident communicator with technical, operational, and leadership stakeholders
- Proactive approach to schedule risk identification and mitigation
