Master Scheduler

Job Summary
Generate and manage the master schedule, maintaining distribution plans and alerting staff of changes or delays. Lead ERP training and implementation for planning team modules while collaborating with sales to analyze forecasts and capacity impacts. Develop inventory stock strategies that balance service levels and cash, and present data clearly to all organizational levels. Participate in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and production departments, and assist in special projects. Report hazardous conditions immediately and comply with all safety guidelines and CB policies.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or other related field
- At least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with an MRP/ERP system
- Understanding of purchasing
- Understanding of MRP
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodology
- Understanding of inventory control
- Understanding of inventory and lost control
- Proficiency in computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment including Office (Word & Excel)
- APIC's certification
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to a variety of changing situations
- Extremely proficient with production planning systems, such as MRP
- Ability to write and read English
