Master Scheduler

Job Summary
Schedule supply of materials and components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels. Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit. Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels, support inventory checks to validate accuracy, and create regular statistical reports and analysis. Utilize the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to ensure data is accurate and resolve issues, while assessing volume requirements against planning assumptions. Take follow-up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production and understand risks to minimize impact on the schedule. Work in an office setting and on the plant floor, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Materials/Purchasing, or equivalent education and experience
- 5 plus years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge and experience using an MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system
