Job Summary
Develop, implement, and maintain the master production schedule to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization. Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain teams to align production plans with business forecasts and identify bottlenecks. Analyze production capacity and material availability, utilizing advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software to create detailed schedules. Monitor key performance indicators related to scheduling effectiveness and implement corrective actions as needed. Lead cross-functional meetings to review production plans and continuously improve scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and responsiveness. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Proven expertise in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Desired Qualifications
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred
