Job Summary
Mental Health Provider at Delaware County Jail responsible for screening, assessments, and treatment recommendations for referents from security, healthcare staff, and community sources; develop and implement treatment plans, conduct psychoeducational and transitional groups, provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention, monitor medication adherence and coordinate with prescribing providers for evaluations; oversee caseload clinical needs, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, provide staff training on mental health topics, and document findings in the health record while ensuring compliance with facility and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in social work, mental health counseling, addiction, or similar field
- Minimum of 6 months experience working in the mental health field
